Indian psych-rock pioneers The Flintstones – Rhett May and Clayton Saunders, who both grew up in Calcutta orphanages – helped ignite India’s underground psych scene.
Their rare, earliest single, “Happy By My Side / Be Mine” (1968), was originally released on EMI India and is now signed to the underground Seelie Court label.
This sunny, whimsical, and slightly eccentric 7” will return for Record Store Day 2026 as a facsimile edition, complete with the original psychedelic picture sleeve – the only surviving copy.
Super rare and out of print for six decades.
