The second release is The Groover, originally released in early June 1973. It peaked in the UK charts at number 4, while 10cc (Rubber Bullets), Fleetwood Mac (Albatross) and Suzi Quatro (Can The Can) occupied the top three positions. The Groover stayed in the charts for nine weeks.
Neither The Groover or its B-side Midnight appeared on the Zinc Alloy album, released in January 1974.
