It was the band’s fourth UK number 1, where it stayed for four weeks (spending fourteen weeks in the charts in total). It knocked The Pipes and Drums and The Military Band of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards’ “Amazing Grace” off the top spot, and was itself replaced by Don McLean’s “Vincent”.
